We were like sisters you and I
We watched our children grow up together
We shared our innermost hurts and desires with each other
Things that we never shared with anyone else
The paths we walked were sometimes hard but we did it
We chased the wind and rode life as best we could with what we had
We came to know the Lord and He changed our hearts in many ways
He gave you the gift of service and you grasped it fully
You shared your time, your home and your very being with those in need
You taught me how to make my first rag quilt and I named it after you...I will always cherish my "Patricia"
We shared many Thanksgivings and Christmas's together
There are so many things I could write about but they are all in my memory and will never be forgotten
God chose to take you home and leave me here but He didn't leave me empty for I have those memories of all we shared, all we cared about and all we did because...
